About Me
About Beth Beier
Long before I decided to enroll in the Travel & Tourism Program at SAIT, I knew that travel was going to play an important role in my life. By my early 20s, I had already gotten a taste for exploring other cultures and loved the adventure of solo travel and learning about the world.
Fast forward to married and family life; my travels have become a little less adventurous, but nevertheless, heading to a new destination with my family in tow is still such a thrill for me.
And, if I can’t be traveling, I enjoy helping my clients experience this same thrill! Whether it is finding the perfect destination for your multi-family vacation, that solo adventure to Machu Picchu, or piecing together that “Trip of a Lifetime”, my aim is to ensure every detail is taken care of. Your travels should be stress-free and memorable!
I am so looking forward to working with you to make your next travel adventure a dream come true!

Frequently Asked Questions…
How long have you worked in the travel industry?
I’ve been working in the travel industry for 23 years, but my appreciation and love for travel was realized years prior to my studies in Travel and Tourism at SAIT
What was your first travel experience?
My first travel experience was a Contiki tour in New Zealand. I then went on to travel through Australia and Singapore for several months. Everyone thought I was crazy, going out on this big adventure on my own! This solo trip fueled my need to travel, my love for meeting new people, learning about the country I was in, as well the countries of those I met! It really was the setting stone of my travel career!
What are your favorite destinations?
It’s so hard to choose a favorite destination. For me, it’s about my experience and who I am traveling with. I love Italy as it was the first big international trip with my daughters and husband (and it’s just so romantic!). Spain and Portugal are two of my favorite. The people, the food, the wine! If I only have a week, I love a week away to Mexico or the Caribbean! Nothing says relaxation like an all-inclusive resort!
What type of resort activities do you favor? ie water sports, lounging by the pool, etc?
Love Volleyball; so whether it is beach or pool, I am all in! I always take advantage of the included activities at a resort, like nature walks, or kayak tours. Don’t get me wrong, I make plenty of time for relaxing with a book and a margarita!
Most bizarre thing you have experienced in your travels?
Probably the craziest thing I have personally experienced was having my appendix out in Costa Rica. Scary when you are young and alone. Even scarier not having insurance. The biggest takeaway, purchase insurance, anything can happen!
What are your hobbies?
I love hiking, skiing, reading and Vegas (can that be a hobby?) I have always enjoyed hiking in the Rockies, but through Covid began winter hiking and would consider myself slightly obsessed!
